About the Author
Cletus McMurtry is a war veteran. During his career, as an Instructor Pilot, he trained over a thousand Pilots. Having grown up in a Christian family, Cletus decided to go back to his military training, where he used to read the Bible whenever he could. However, the only difference between then and now was that Cletus decided to study the Bible like a manual instead of a book you should read and not ask questions. Regarding the author’s impressive history, Cletus courageously and proudly gave more than 30 years of his life in the U.S. Army as a Helicopter Pilot. He fought in the Vietnam War as an armed helicopter pilot. So just what is it that Cletus has been shown, in the Bible(s), that a great number of people have never seen before?
About the Book
This book is about the Holy Bible, not religion. The Bible is a divine book that can be read by anyone, whereas religion is like a map people use to navigate their lives. The author shares personal experiences where they narrowly avoided death and felt that something intervened to save them. They were a helicopter gunship pilot in Vietnam and flew dangerous missions, including the Nighthawk Mission. The book aims to help readers understand the true meaning of the Bible and is based on what the author has been shown over the years, not on any religious training or mentorship.
